    Vanessa Tendo Naddamba is the CREATIVE WEAR winner Below is her inspiration behind the look 'Being a muganda woman and knowing the significance the mat has in the Baganda tribe I wanted to have an element that was close to home and my Ugandan identity. In addition my jaaja makes a lot of these mats so I wanted to feel like she was there with me while competing In the competition. The design was very much visualized in my head and I wanted to have something that complemented my body shape and the hat just helped me achieve the majestic look I was going for'.

    Meet 22-year-old Miss Naddamba, Miss Uganda UK 2022 Winner. Vanessa Tendo Naddamba is studying for an MSc in Project Management and working as a sales and marketing assistant, carried the day, scooping two mini awards (best creative wear & best catwalk). Vanessa will be the face and voice of the Miss Uganda UK campaign alongside “Draw a Smile” Uganda, a charity that focuses on empowering young mother's in Uganda.
